Honda CR-V: Towing a Trailer / Towing Your Vehicle
Your vehicle is not designed to be towed behind a motor home. If your vehicle
needs
to be towed in an emergency, refer to the emergency towing information.
Operating speed when towing a trailer is restricted
up to 65 mph (100 km/h).
Parking
In addition to the normal precautions, place wheel
chocks at each of the trailer's tires...
Your vehicle has been designed primarily for use on pavement, however, its
higher
ground clearance allows you to occasionally travel on unpaved roads...
Other information:
Keeps the brake applied after releasing the brake pedal until the accelerator
pedal is
pressed. You can use this system while the vehicle is temporarily stopped, like
at
traffic lights and in heavy traffic.
WARNING
Activating the automatic brake hold system
on steep hills or slippery roads may still
allow the vehicle to move if you remove
your foot from the brake pedal...
Always wear your seat belt
A seat belt is your best protection in all types of collisions. Airbags are
designed to
supplement seat belts, not replace them. So even though your vehicle is equipped
with airbags, make sure you and your passengers always wear your seat belts, and
wear them properly...
Categories
After adjusting a front seat to the proper position, and while sitting
upright and well
back in the seat:
Pull the seat belt out slowly.

Insert the latch plate into the buckle, then
tug on the belt to make sure the buckle is
secure.
Make sure that the belt is not twisted or
caught on anything.
